Welcome – I'm AmyRooted Senses is a gentle space for children, adults, and families who feel overwhelmed by the pace of life and want to feel calmer, safer, and more connected in their daily rhythms.I support sensitive nervous systems through sensory awareness, somatic grounding, breath, rhythm, and simple home rituals that bring the body back into steadiness.Together, we learn what helps you feel regulated, what overwhelms you, and how to create an environment and routine that feels safe, supportive, and peaceful. My approach is warm and nurturing — grounded in presence, attunement, compassion – holding the belief that everyone deserves to feel safe in their body. This is a space where your nervous system is honored, not judged.
A space where you are met with softness, understanding & safety.

Hi- I'm AmyI support children, families, and sensitive adults through gentle sensory–somatic practices that help the nervous system feel calm, safe, and connected. My approach is shaped by 13 years of experience as a pediatric occupational therapist, specializing in sensory integration, co-regulation, emotional development, and family-centered care. Over time, I realized not only children, but parents and adults also need compassionate nervous system support. That is the heart behind Rooted Senses.I blend sensory awareness, somatic grounding, interoception, breath, movement, rhythm, co-regulation, and mindful home rituals to help you and your child feel understood, supported, and regulated. My work is rooted in warmth and presence — guided by curiosity about what your unique nervous system needs to feel understood & safe. These sessions are not therapy and do not provide clinical assessment or treatment — they are wellness-based, educational, and supportive.
